(10 points) A simply-supported W10x49 steel beam (self-weight 49 lblfi) spans 22 ft and supports a 8 fi tall, 6 in thick hollow medium weight (125 Iblf3) concrete masonry unit (CMU) wall with grouted cells spaced 24 in o.c. [The wall is 22 ft long and rests directly on top of the 22 ft long steel beam.] Plaster is applied directly to both faces of the CMU wall. Sketch an FBD of the steel beam showing all dead loads acting on the beam (in units of lblf) and calculate the reaction force at each end of the beam.
